Race for Education-2012
BMS will be holding the annual Race for Education on Wednesday, February 29, and Thursday, March 1. Race for Education is an annual jog-a-thon which involves PreK-12th grades walking or jogging around a quarter-mile area for one hour. The Race will take place in the gym in a course set up just for this event. Each class will have one period when all students will participate in some way in the Race.
This year, families will have an opportunity to receive $25 and $50 cash prizes or lunch credits to the school. In addition , if grades K-12 bring in a total of 4,000 labels, they will be treated to an Altoona Curve baseball game during a school day.
