Greek Week is experienced by students bi-annually at Belleville Mennonite School. This year the freshmen and sophomores learned about Greek & Roman gods & goddesses as well as the games Greek children played and the foods they ate. One day of the week was "Toga Day". Students were to wear togas to class and play games in them outside of the classroom. On another day students brought in traditional Greek foods like spinach pie made with feta cheese, meat balls with mint leaves in them, baklava - a sweet nut & honey dessert, as well as other items. Great fun was had by all playing the games and tasting new foods!
