The Internet is a tool that can be used for many purposes. This web site is a collection of Internet resources that provide a variety of study resources for those interested in digging into God?s Word. Finding the appropriate and beneficial resources can be sort of like an Easter Egg hunt or a Treasure Hunt. Hopefully this web site will help you discover the "Easter Eggs" and the "Treasures" that will help you to be attentive to God?s voice.

With a Premium membership for $50, you can access all of the illustrations and the Skills section, which includes articles, workshops, and interviews. You will also receive the Weekly Illustration Update, which announces our newest material each week and includes a note from the editor. This site is largely an illustration database and not a sermon database.

In addition to illustrations, there are what are called Skill Builders. One is called "My Finger on the Hot Button" ? this article addresses how teachers can address socially hot button issues. The author relates some of his thoughts that came to him as he researched sermons preached in Missouri on the issue of slavery during the 1850?s.
