Student Of The Month
Belleville Mennonite School Student Of The Month
Each month, the high school faculty at Belleville Mennonite School elects a candidate from each grade 9-12 for Student Of The Month. Belleville Mennonite School is glad to be able to recognize students for their positive contribution to the school and community. BMS is privileged to partner with WMRF radio and Senator Corman's office to recognize each candidate and the eventual Student Of The Month.
Students for this position are first nominated by the faculty. Spiritual interest and growth, leadership qualities, and school spirit are some qualities that are considered. The students receiving the most faculty votes are then chosen as the candidate for that particular grade level.
Each participating high school faculty member then completes a rubric constructed by the National Honors Society and faculty. After the rubrics have been completed and the figures tallied, a Student Of The Month is reconginized along with the candiates from each grade level.
