Belleville Mennonite School Early Childhood Education

Pre-school, and Kindergarten Programs

Belleville Mennonite School's Early Childhood Education programs include Preschool, Kindergarten. These programs provide opportunity for the young child to grow socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually even as Christ did when He walked as a child on earth. These early learners experience many new things that include:

  • Adapting to a group
  • Appreciation for the efforts and accomplishments of others
  • Responsibility
  • Increased vocabulary
  • Understanding numbers as they arise in natural situations
  • God is love and love is the best way to live

Belleville Mennonite School Elementary Program - Grades 1 - 3

Mrs. Glenna Young, Elementary School Principal

Belleville Mennonite School's Primary Program builds on those skills taught in the school's early childhood environment. A large portion of each day focuses on reading and math skills. Each child is a special part of the educational process. The classroom teacher strives to help each student develop his/her full potential for learning both academically and spiritually.

Belleville Mennonite School Elementary Education Program - Grades 4 - 5

Belleville Mennonite School's Intermediate grades will challenge the student to gain independence in learning. Each student will be asked to take on more responsibility for his/her academic, social, and spiritual growth.

Middle School at Belleville Mennonite serves as a bridge between elementary and high school. Tremendous change occurs during these years in the lives of middle school students. One BMS goal during these years is to help each student to realize he/she is a unique individual created by the Master Creator.

Belleville Mennonite High School 9-12

Mr. Wayne Bond, High School Principal

Foundation Studies, a unique cross-discipline program of courses required of all high school students; provides an interactive, hands-on experience linked to the mission statement of the school.

AP and Honors* programs available in the High School.

*Honors students are required to do extra projects which involve more critical thinking.
